Dr. Ruchita Verma
Dr. Ruchita Verma is Doctorate in Management and an MBA in Administration &
Tourism Management. She also holds PG in Hotel Administration and is an alumnus
of famous ‘Dadar Catering College’ of Mumbai in Hotel Management & Catering
Dr. Verma has 26 years of experience in academics in various positions. She has
had a humble beginning as a lecturer and worked her way up to a position of a
Group Director. She has headed three hospitality schools and one fashion & design
school for the ITM Group of Institutions, Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Hotel
Management & Catering Technology and as a Campus Director with Pearl Academy.
Dr. Verma is passionate about driving the operations to the next best level by
streamlining the operational procedures, implementing new processes and
championing change initiatives, driving academic excellence by streamlining
administrative functions, enhancing academic curriculum, setting up the institutional
infrastructure and implementing reforms by way of policy changes and improved

Prof. Manikandan P. is a visionary Hospitality management professional with 25 years of progressive international experience split between Industry and Academia. Prof. Manikandan holds MBA in Hotel & Tourism Management from reputed Maastricht Hotel School in The Netherlands and also an MBA in International Business from India. He is certified for Food Production and Bakery & Patisserie from IHMCTAN Chennai and a Certified Hospitality Supervisor from American Hotel and Lodging Association, USA. He had recently added Wine and Spirit Education trust (London) certification of Level-1 to his Knowledge base. As a researcher he is currently pursuing his PhD thesis in the field of “Customer loyalty with online food aggregators”.
In the Academia he brings 10-years of experience as the Regional Director-South India for Indus Hospitality Careers and Training and as Principal of Bell Institute of Hotel Management. He also brings in 14 years of Industry experience from reputed brands such as Royal Caribbean Cruises-USA., Amsterdam Marriot Hotel-The Netherlands, The Taj Coramandel Hotel & The Trident Oberoi Hotels in India.
He is an Institution builder, developed and managed Hospitality & Beauty/wellness schools, His areas of specialization includes Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage Management, Business Development, Market research & analysis, Training and development, Inventory management & Multicultural sensitivity. Dr. Ketan Chande is a hospitality operations professional turned accomplished
educator with demonstrated ability to teach, motivate, and direct students while

He has completed his Diploma in Hotel Management from the prestigious IHM,
Ahmedabad. He has an experience spanning over 30 years with 16 years in the
industry with many 5 star hotels, fine dining restaurants, banquets and quick
service restaurants. He has 14 years of experience in academics in various
hospitality management colleges and management colleges.
Bimal Kumar Ekka is an Hospitality Academician and Trainer having
over 23 years of vital experience in the field of Hospitality and Tourism,
both to participate effectively and efficiently for making of future and
helping the bridge between Indians ethos and the changing global trend.

Karishma Chauhan is an MBA graduate in Hotel Management from Punjab Technical University, Her
under graduation is from the reputed IHM – Mumbai also known as Dadar Catering College. She is
an AHLEI certified hospitality educator for Front Office and Accommodation Operations. She started
her industry career in Sofitel Mumbai, from there she moved on to teach hospitality for the past 5 years in various reputed hospitality colleges in Dehradun. She finds her passion in teaching, painting
and human relationships.
